In this post, let's uncover 5 such spots at Emerald Hill. Emerald Hill is one of the conservation areas of Singapore and used to be home to the wealthy Peranakan Community. One can already imagine the ravishing architecture of the neighbourhood!

First Stop: this quaint little home that creates the perfect Balinese setting! The overall vibe exuded from this spot is a charmingly relaxed one. With neutral, earthy tones, and woody decorative elements such as the wooden chairs and statement, hanging lanterns, we would love to have a casual chic outfit shot taken at this place! Dresses with a white base would be striking and appropriate for a resort-vibe outfit photo!

Second stop: Bougainvillea House! Everyone in Singapore must be exceedingly familiar with the Bougainvillea Flower. This tropical flower is a signature feature in the Singapore landscape. It is widely used to decorate the roads and overhead bridges in mostly pink, rose, orange, and white hues. And lucky as we are, we found a spot in Emerald Hill with blooming bougainvillea plants! This spot is in muted tones of brown and eggnog colours with a very intricately-crafted wooden door. Choose your angles correctly among the flowers and you will be blessed with a super sophisticated shot ;)

Third Stop: House of Greens
This captivating location with its eye-catching blooms that are almost enclosing the entire house! We love how it radiates an extremely warm feeling and an attachment to the wondrous Mother Earth. It reminds us of the mystical and overwhelming forest that possibly holds some of the most amazing secrets and stories of its owners and passers-by alike. We would love to score an outfit shot at this enchanted location! A classy and elegant outfit might be fitting right here!

Fourth stop: Santorini
This spot speaks of the effortless beauty of white-washed walls just like those of Greece's Santorini. The majestic front is decorated with blooming bougainvilleas in a hot pink shade that provide a contrasting look to the white, textured walls. We love the feelings of elegance emanated from this location, and is indeed the perfect spot for most outfits with the background being a sea of white!

We named this "The Happy Home", and we are confident you know why! Happy colours are known to brighten up someone's day and starting the day on a happy note always make the entire day more light-hearted! This location is painted in a vibrant, yellow shade with white decorative accents such as the wooden door and windows. This background is very clean and minimalistic that it will not take away any attention from your outfit. Furthermore, it contributes to the happiness level of your Instagram feed! ;)
